Can someone explain to me how this works?
Is there any specific way I can get around the hour long wait for the re-up on download time?
Id appreciate a little help if somone could spare the time.

You can use http://ibiet.com/ or just get a premium membership. there's really no other way around it Cool

I've not found a way around them either other than NOT subscribe to a premium membership any more. I've done so in the past with poor results from their customer service dept.

I've found that the majority of things I wish to d/l were on RS but have given up on them for the most part because I refuse to play their game.

Case in point. They had a special a few ago where new members were given a large amount of bonus points. Which is good marketing. However those that membership had expired and were getting a NEW membership vs renewing were NOT given any points. Even those that were renewing were ignored. After going around & around with them 'out of the goodness of their hearts' they decided to give me a few measly points which I 'politely' told them where they can hang 'em.

The only solution I see is going to either ZShare or Mega which don't make you wait half a day. In most cases if you're using only one pc on a network they see it as one. But if you try and use another pc on your same network then they will induce a time limit.

While I know asking people to NOT use RS isn't feasible maybe cutting back will effect them enough to start seeing Us for what we are.... The reason they are THERE... Ok I'll shut up now and get off my BOX. Thanks for listening to my rant.

No longer any wait for subsequent downloads, BUT, they have slowed the dl speed instead Sad

Personally i find deposit files the most consistent one, but they all have their pros and cons Smile
